HomeCycle is a FREE service to donate second-hand furniture and other household items in good condition for reuse without leaving the comfort of home.
This year we’ve partnered with Eastern Emergency Relief Network to re-distribute reusable items as emergency aid to local families or individuals requiring basic living support in the community. The service will run weekly from 7 August until 6 November.
There is a limit of one pick-up per household. Last year we collected more than 71,000 kgs of household items through HomeCycle, and around 75% of items were in good enough condition to be reused. The remaining items were recycled. This is a great effort and almost double what we collected the previous year.
