HomeCycle is a FREE service to donate second-hand furniture and other household items in good condition for reuse without leaving the comfort of home.
This year we’ve partnered with Eastern Emergency Relief Network to re-distribute reusable items as emergency aid to local families or individuals requiring basic living support in the community. The service will run weekly from 7 August until 6 November.
Last year we collected more than 71,000 kgs of household items through HomeCycle. Around 70% of items collected in 2023 were in good enough condition to be rehomed. Another 24% were able to be recycled, including textiles.
